Philip A. Bryce, president of fountains america, has been with the company since September 2008.  As president of fountains america, Bryce is responsible for managing, integrating and developing the three business units, fountains forestry, fountains land, and fountains spatial and ensuring that clients and shareholders are provided with high quality service and value.

Prior to joining fountains, Bryce was the Director of Forests and Lands for the state of New Hampshire since1997.  As the state forester, he oversaw the acquisition and management of state forestland and conservation easements; protection of forests from wildland fire, insects and disease; timber harvesting law enforcement; the natural heritage program; current use valuation; forester licensing; technical assistance to private forest landowners; public education; legislative affairs; and, development of forest policy.  Prior to state service he was Chief Forester for Crown Vantage/James River pulp and paper companies and wood procurement and personnel manager for an oriented strandboard plant.  He is a Society of American Foresters Certified Forester and holds forestry licenses in New Hampshire and Maine.

David J. Daut, president of fountains forestry, has been with the company since 1986, and was previously with International Paper Company in Maine. Dave has a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse.  He is responsible for all aspects of forestland management activities on all client properties and projects. Duties include all long-term management plan development and implementation, inventory design, data collection, data processing and interpretation, budgeting, road building, silvicultural activities, timber harvest preparation and administration, forest maintenance, and recreation lease administration. With a supporting team of 30+ foresters, administrators, and appraisers throughout the eastern US, fountains forestry is staffed to provide exceptional, responsive service to clients.

Michael Tragner, president of fountains land, has been with the company since 1989 providing forestry and brokerage services for private, institutional, and non-profit clients.  With a bachelor’s degree in Resource Management from the State University of New York at Syracuse, Michael started his career in forest management and consulting operations.  Licensed in ME, NH, VT, and NY, Michael has been involved with land brokerage since 1996.  In that time, he has brokered 275,000 acres of timberland and multiple use tracts covering 250 transactions, and has advised landowners on market value, marketing campaign development, and sales contract negotiations.  Michael has advised private and corporate investors in the acquisition process of timberland investment properties in the northeast covering nearly one million acres.  In this capacity he has consulted on matters surrounding timber performance, HBU values, overall investment financial analysis, and negotiation strategy. Today, he leads a talented staff of land brokers who bring passion and in-depth experience to each land transaction.

Larry Spraker, president of fountains spatial, has been a principal in the GIS firm since 1992 and manages the company's overall operations and is responsible for business development and long-term planning. Additionally, he leads the custom application development division of the company. With over 20 years of professional experience in the GIS industry, he is recognized as one of the nation's leading experts in the development of web-based GIS applications using ESRI technology. Prior to joining the firm, he held the position of Director of Geographic Information Systems for the NYS Parks Management and Research Institute. Larry has served on many advisory groups and conference steering committees. He has also been an adjunct faculty member at the State University of New York at Albany, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Austin Fisher, vice president of fountains spatial, founded the GIS firm in 1992 and works closely with Larry in managing the company's overall operation, playing an active role in business development, and also leads the product development team. He has 20 years of professional experience in the GIS industry. Past experience includes positions as Manager of Computer Mapping for the New York City Planning Department, and Director of Data Products for MapInfo Corporation. He is actively involved in many GIS initiatives in New York State and has served on the steering committee for the annual NYS GIS Conference, chaired the NYS GIS Coordination Program’s Private Sector Advisory Group, and participated in many ad hoc work groups and committees. He has also taught GIS classes at Union College and the State University of New York at Albany.

Tony Cheek, director of finance of fountains america, has been with the company since 2007.  He is responsible for all of the finance, accounting, risk management and corporate compliance functions for fountains america, fountains forestry, fountains land, and fountains spatial.  He has over 20 years experience including nine years as Director of Finance at the Lakes Region Community Services Council, Inc. in central NH, and another eight years as Controller for a private, family owned manufacturing business in Massachusetts.
