Timber Income Accounting

Professional accounting services are provided to clients with active timber sale activities. With audited business controls in place, fountains forestry has the accounting processes, experience and capacity to handle the anticipated timber production from stumpage or service logging contracts and deliveries to log concentration yards. Our accounting department provides a full range of accounting services:

  • Weekly reports provide timber income summaries including disbursements.

  • Quarterly reports include income and cash statements.

  • Year-end reports offer trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, cash statement, forest account summary, capitalized costs statement, timber balance sheet schedule, and depletion schedule.

  • For larger clients, a cash account may be set up at the client's request to manage income and expenditures. These accounts are reconciled monthly with audited business controls.

Prior to the beginning of each year, fountains forestry provides clients with an annual budget. Our accounting department in Pittsfield, NH, provides reports to suit each client's needs.
